CNBC · iPhone X launch

In line for the iPhone X.

I was lucky enough to be one of the very first people in line to buy the iPhone X at the Apple Store in Palo Alto. As a lifelong Apple fan, that was exciting enough. Then I ended up on CNBC’s Squawk Alley without planning to.

After I entered the store, I got a high-five from Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO at the time. It remains the second-coolest celebrity high-five of my life, after Conan O’Brien. Another story for another time.
